Rug tufting is a technique in which a tufting gun is used in order to repeatedly pierce a backing cloth with yarn so that a rug is formed on the opposite side.
I began rug tufting in 2020 and immediately fell in love with the process. It's tough to get the hang of at first, and materials are expensive, but with practice and dedication, I have been able to continue making rugs. My most successful rugs can be seen below. I have also included a rug design for my next upcoming piece.
